About Age Craft Manufacturing

The company is a manufacturer wholesaler and therefore does not sell directly to the public, but you can find our products throughout Western Pennsylvania at O.C. Cluss, 84 Lumber and Lowes.

Our C.E.O., Ben Policastro, Jr. is from Greensburg, PA and spends a lot of time and effort bettering our local community through Greensburg Rotary, food bank, and several other important causes.

Some of our local fencing projects in Western Pennsylvania include:

• South Greensburg Boro and several local swimming pool fences

We're celebrating 81 years in business in Greensburg.

Our Timeline

• 1949 - We are one of the first to manufacture awnings out of aluminum.
• This continues to be a strong product line for us. Manufactured mobile home skirting, soffit and fascia until those lines were sold in the mid 1970's.
• 1970 - Purchased a local railing company, BelMet Inc. and began production of our residential railings.
• Mid 70's - Developed our structural Colonial columns and added them to our product line.
• 1981 - Began fabricating window treatments in addition to our existing product lines.
• Mid 80's - In response to customer requests, we added the ProLine style of residential railing to the product line.
• This was done to meet building codes in our growing service area.
• Early 90's - In response to a need for a more mobile and easy to install safety rail for new construction sites, we developed our Guardrail product.
• Began distributing and installing aluminum and vinyl enclosures locally.
• 1997 - In response to trends in the industry, developed our Colonial Rail line and add it it to our offerings.
• Early 1998 - To compliment our additional rail lines, we added our smooth square column, the Panel Column.
• Early 1999 - Designed a Spear top fencing system to compliment our Colonial Railing.
• 2003 - Added to our offerings in response to customer requests with the Colonial French Quarter style railing and the Colonial Twin Rail.
• 2005 - To become a complete Railing Manufacturing Company we added our Vinyl Railing and Fencing Systems.
• 2008 - We introduced our Schedule 40 Pipe Rail that can be used alone or as a secondary handicap rail that is required in commercial applications.
• 2010 - In response to code changes concerning our Guardrail System, we redesigned, re-tested and reintroduced it as Super Guardrail.
• 2015 - We introduced the Super Pro Line Railing System.
• 2020 - We stepped up in midst of the pandemic and were able to fully meet contractor’s demands for the manufacture of their products.
